Calcium Lignosulphonate:
Lignin can not only be used as a dispersant of dyes, but also as a
dispersant of pesticides. Its advantages are:
(1) Lignin is larger than the surface, lighter, and can be fully
mixed with pesticides. In particular, there are many active bases
in the molecular structure, and it can chemically combine with
pesticide molecules through simple chemical reactions.
(2) Lignin has a good ability to absorb ultraviolet light, and can
play a stable role in photosensitive and oxygen-sensitive
pesticides;
(3) Lignin can degrade slowly in soil, and there will be no residue
of pollutants.
(4) Lignin itself is non-toxic.
Generally speaking, for pesticides with strong hydrophobicity,
lignosulfonate dispersions with higher relative molecular weight
and lower degree of sulfonation are needed. In a certain range, the
larger relative molecular weight of sulfonate is, the narrower
molecular weight distribution is, the lower degree of sulfonation
is, and the better its dispersion performance is. Through the
selection of process conditions, changing the relative molecular
weight and sulfonation degree of lignosulfonate can selectively
improve some properties, so that lignosulfonate products can be
mixed with many agricultural products, widely used as a dispersant
of wetability powder, water dispersion granule, suspension agent.
Due to the low toxicity of lignosulfonate series products, natural
degradation, degradation products are almost non-toxic, and the
price is lower than other dispersants, so that its use in the
weatable powder occupies the first place. Calcium lignosulfonate is
widely used.
